Diamond Fork Hot Springs (Fifth Water)

Overview: Beautiful hilly trail that leads to a hot spring heaven.

  • Trail Head: Take I-15 south to the US-6 (Price/Manti) Exit (exit 258) Take the exit east towards the mountains through Spanish Fork Canyon for about 11 miles (from the exit). Turn left onto Diamond Fork Road and follow the road until you see a sign that says Three Forks Trail head (about 10 miles).
    • Coordinates: 40°05'05.21"N, 111°21'19.14"W
  • Distance: about 2.5 miles to the springs.
  • Difficulty: 2.5
  • Trail Condition: Well marked hilly dirt path.
  • Season: Spring through Fall.


Detailed Description: The trail starts where the Three Forks river meets the Diamond Fork River. Follow the Three Forks River as it winds around a canyon for about a mile. You will then meet up with the Fifth Water tributary. There is a really nice bridge across the river. Follow the path over the bridge and about another 1.5 miles you will reach the hot springs. WARNING: there may be nude bathers so if you have children with you run up the trail first to check.
